About the Creators This site was created by, (from left to right) Jordan Harding, Will Buffington, and Todd Harding. Jordan designed the website, Will found information and pictures for the jobs and internships, and Todd also found information for the jobs and internships and created the slider on the home page. Jordan used Adobe DreamWeaver CS3 to create the website. First he created a template so all of the pages would have the same navigation so it is easy to use. All of the navigation and menu bars were created in Adobe PhotoShop CS3. For the rollover menus, he used Adobe Fireworks CS3. Will found or created information for the jobs and internships on the site. He found pictures using Google Images.Todd also found or created information for the jobs and internships on the site. He created the slider on the home page using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional.We created this site to help students in the school and surrounding area find jobs easier. There are thirteen job openings and twelve internships available to choose from with pages for employers to submit other openings available. We followed the six different career pathways so students can search for jobs in the pathways they are interested in. Each job/internship has the following information: work hours, work days, when the job is available, job pay, job location, job requirements, phone number, and e-mail. Students can fill out an online resume or upload a resume for employers to view. We hope that Worth County R-III students will receive more jobs from local businesses that will potentially lead to careers. |
