Cyber Fair: Created for students in grades 3-6, this site is a coomprehensive resource for science fair participants. You can read through students' findings, look for ideas, and post your own results. You can also review the site's sample projects.
DiscoverySchool.com: Science Fair Central: All science fair projects should start with a question. But if the project is going to be enjoyable as well as educational, it is best to start with a question about a subject that interests you. If you can't come up with a question on your own DiscoverySchool.com has developed a number of good ideas, one of which may inspire you.
Science Fair Idea Exchange: This site is loaded with ideas for science fair projects from other students across the country and around the world. The site divides ideas into categories that include biology, chemistry, physics, and psychology. Students who come up with an idea for a project they'd like to sharewith others are encouraged to submit it.

The Exploratorium: Provides information on the current exhibits at the Exploratorium, an interactive museum in San Francisco. Students and teachers who are looking for ideas for science activities and demonstrations should explore this site, especially the Learning Studio. The instructions for doing the activities are provided as well as explanations for the scientific principles involved in them.
Science Fair Project Index: This electronic index includes more than17,000 science projects and demonstrations from over 600 books published since 1990. The index contains projects from almost all areas of science and many areas of technology and focuses on actual projects and experiments rather than on supplemental or background information. However, instructions for organizing and displaying a science fair project, information on laboratory apparatus and safety, and directions for proper and humane care of laboratory animals are included. The index is designed to allow the user to locate a particular experiment by the general topic; by keywords in the experiment title or book information; by grade level; by the materials or equipment employed; or by the principle demonstrated.
